The mission of Nippon Pulse is to keep public data transparently accessible. Reading the metrics, rankings, and commentary for the 47 prefectures will, from here on, carry no charge in itself. We will not blur the top and bottom, and we will not throttle the number of views.
What we charge for is not hiding the data, but saving the effort of comparing areas again and again. Saving, comparing, notifying, exporting, deep-diving — that is where we draw the line.
Wherever in Japan you look, viewing the data itself costs nothing. This will not change in the future either.
Once you register an email (¥0), saving areas of interest and update notifications are added.
Open the map →Not just viewing once — for those who compare areas again and again. It gathers the features that save you the trouble of looking things up afresh.
Includes: Everything in Free +
Calculation features for investors (price distortion, estimated yield) will be added to Pro in stages, after legal review.
Get notified at launch →For local governments, universities, and businesses. We design site licenses, API provision, and cleansed-data delivery individually.
Includes: Everything in Pro +
Provided in stages after launch, once a personal track record and access record have been built.
Go to the data form →Without registering, you can go this far. Viewing the figures, comparing them, and checking the sources are all placed before the pricing line.

"—" means not included, and "Available" means the feature can be used on that plan. Pro is in preparation; its release timing is updated in step with the roadmap.
Keeping the free features running and continuing to update the data costs money. I (Atlas) have designed things so that those costs are covered in two ways. Both are kept within a scope that does not compromise the neutrality of the freely readable data.
At the stage of searching for a property, we place external links to real-estate portals. When a deal closes, revenue may be returned to the operator, but the order in rankings and ratings is in no way tied to this revenue. We list multiple portals regardless of whether there is a contract, and keep things so that you choose your destination yourself. The details are written in the neutrality rules below.
We charge for the effort-saving features such as saving, comparing, notifying, and exporting. Your support becomes the funds for keeping the quality of the free features. In other words, the paid plans support the data quality for those who read for free — that is the structure.
So that revenue does not distort neutrality, we disclose the rules we have decided to keep.
I am building this site to choose my own next detached home. Narrowing the freely readable range might raise short-term revenue, but that would contradict the starting point — the wish to be useful to people who are choosing an area in the same way. So I left viewing free.
